The Taste of Chinese New Year for Sixth Graders
Chinese New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, is the most important traditional festival in China. It is a time for family reunion, celebration, and reflection on the past year. As a sixth-grader, I have had the privilege of experiencing the rich and vibrant atmosphere of Chinese New Year since I was a child. Eating dumplings on New Year's Eve is considered lucky, as it is said to bring good fortune for the coming year.
