Title: Lesson Plan for Grade 6 English Teaching (People's Education Edition - All English)

Time: 45 minutes

Objective: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

1. Identify and use vocabulary related to daily routines.

2. Ask and answer questions about daily routines using appropriate grammar structure.

3. Demonstrate effective listening and speaking skills during class discussions.

Materials:

- Picture cards depicting daily routines

- Whiteboard and markers

- Handouts with dialogue and exercise

Warm-up (5 minutes):

- Greet the students and review the previous lesson about telling time.

- Engage the students in a quick discussion about their own daily routines. Ask questions like:

- What time do you wake up?

- What do you do after waking up?

- What do you do before going to school?

Presentation (15 minutes):

1. Introduce new vocabulary related to daily routines using the picture cards. Show each card one by one and elicit the vocabulary from the students.

2. Write the vocabulary on the board and provide pronunciation and meaning.

3. Model a dialogue using the new vocabulary, incorporating phrases like "What time do you ...?" and "I usually/always/sometimes ...". Have one or two students volunteer to act out the dialogue with you.

Practice (20 minutes):

1. Hand out the dialogue and exercise sheet to each student.

2. Pair up the students and have them take turns asking and answering questions about their daily routines using the provided phrases and vocabulary.

3. Circulate around the classroom, monitor and assist the students as needed.

4. After a few minutes, ask some pairs to share their conversations with the whole class.

5. Conclude the practice by having the students write a short paragraph about their own daily routines using the provided vocabulary and phrases.

Wrap-up (5 minutes):

- Recap the lesson by reviewing the new vocabulary and phrases.

- Give feedback to the students by praising their efforts and improvements.

- Assign homework: Ask the students to interview a family member or friend about their daily routine and write a short report.

Note: Allow for flexibility in the lesson plan to cater to the individual needs and pace of the students. Encourage participation and create a supportive and engaging learning environment throughout the lesson.
