Unit Overview:

In this unit, students will focus on developing their language skills in the context of "Hobbies and Interests." They will learn vocabulary related to different activities and hobbies, practice talking about their own hobbies and interests, and engage in various listening, speaking, reading, and writing activities to reinforce their understanding of the language.

Lesson 1: Introduction to Hobbies (60 minutes)

Activities:

1. Warm-up: Play a short video or show pictures of people engaged in various hobbies. Have students discuss in pairs what hobbies they see.

2. Vocabulary introduction: Present new vocabulary words related to hobbies and activities through flashcards or pictures.

3. Vocabulary practice: Engage students in activities such as word matching, labeling pictures, and creating sentences using the new vocabulary.

Lesson 2: Talking about Hobbies (60 minutes)

Lesson Objective: To enable students to talk about their own hobbies and interests.

Activities:

1. Warm-up: Ask students to write down three of their favorite hobbies on a piece of paper and discuss in pairs.

2. Vocabulary review: Review the vocabulary words related to hobbies and activities from Lesson 1.
