Lesson 1: Introduction to Family Vocabulary

Objective:

- To introduce and practice vocabulary related to family members.

Materials:

- Family flashcards

- Pictures of different families

Procedure:

1. Warm-up (5 minutes):

- Begin the lesson by asking students to brainstorm different family members.

- Write their answers on the board and discuss briefly.

2. Presentation (10 minutes):

- Introduce the new vocabulary using family flashcards.

- Teach the pronunciation and spelling of each family member.

- Use real-life examples and pictures to provide context.

3. Practice (15 minutes):

- Divide the class into pairs or small groups.

- Give each group a set of pictures of different families.
